The Spiked Shield is a Standard Shield in Demon's Souls.

Description

In-Game Description

A shield with countless spikes on the front. It is also meant to be used to pierce the enemy.

This is one of the rarer weapons and does not often see use in combat.

Availability

You can find it in world 1-2 as treasure , or dropped by a Boletaria Soldier in worlds 1-1 and 1-3 , but this drop is rare.

Upgrades

There are two upgrade paths with the Spiked Shield the basic Spiked Shield that requires Sharpstone and the second path Sharp Spiked Shield requires a Spiked Shield +6 , and Bladestone .

Extra

One thing that's different about the Spiked Shield than other small shields is that you can use it to bash enemies like Large Shields rather than parry causing damage who ever is in front of it , and it is much faster than any of the Large Shields bashes.
