The Hard Demon's Soul can be used to ascend a Short Bow+7 into the Lava Bow at Blacksmith Ed.
It can also be used to purchase the spell Fire Spray from Sage Freke, or Ignite from Yuria the Witch.
It can also be consumed for 3,200 souls.
